All hail the robot vacuum! This has to be one of the most convenient advancements in house cleaning technology.

And one of our favorite models? The Eufy RoboVac 11.

Robot vacuums are getting smaller, lighter, easier to work with, and even better at cleaning as time goes on.

But when we think of these automated vacuum cleaners, Roomba is always the first brand name that comes to mind. However, that doesn’t mean they have the market completely cornered on robot vacuums.

Eufy’s Robovac 11 might even have the edge over the Roomba in some aspects and categories. In fact, we think that it can be considered one of the best and strongest out on the market.

The Eufy RoboVac 11 is a powerful little puppy that comes in a compact size that makes it easy to store when not in use and really unobtrusive when it is.

At only around three inches high, it easily fits under most pieces of lifted furniture, provided they’re lifted more than three inches off the ground, so cleaning under coffee tables and chairs is a breeze.

Controlled with a remote that requires two AAA batteries, the RoboVac 11 can cycle between two different cleaning modes depending on the type of mess and type of flooring.

On a single charge from its base connected to AC power, the Eufy RoboVac 11 can run and clean for an hour and a half before needing to return to base to recharge for its next round.

How Does it Work

To put it simply, the Eufy RoboVac 11 works like — and likely better than most — regular-sized manual vacuum cleaners.

The most significant difference is that this vacuum cleaner takes no effort from you, making it a much more relaxed way of cleaning your floors.

It charges itself on its own base connected to AC power, and with the ease of a remote, you can set it on its way to cleaning up your house with the power of its rolling brush, two side brushes, and its 1000Pa level suction power.

It can handle messes from typical everyday dust and dirt to pet hair to spilled cereal.

It will immediately get to work on giving you a cleaner, healthier house.

Three different filters can be found in the Eufy RoboVac 11, including a HEPA filter, which are set to go through every bit of debris sucked into the little machine.

They trap different levels of allergens, mold spores, dust mites, and even pet dander to stop them from being released back into your home, managing to clean the air as it cleans the floor as well.

Once it’s turned on, the RoboVac 11 simply roams.

The sensors around its sides help it detect objects and walls that it approaches while it cleans. The Pros

Runs Very Quiet

Vacuuming isn’t known for being a particularly quiet household task. Quite the opposite, in fact.

Even other robot vacuums from past models or different brands make a noticeable amount of noise while doing their work. The Eufy RoboVac 11, however,  is surprisingly good at avoiding that problem. The different modes it comes with and the power settings for each all operate at a very quiet level.

Though the sound becomes slightly more noticeable on the maximum power setting, the noise is really only conspicuous by its absence. It’s not obtrusive in your life to the point where it can be run at night in an apartment without the fear of disturbing your neighbors, or even while you take a nap yourself.

This nearly silent vacuum gets the job done without a lot of fuss.

That also means that if you have a late night spill, you don’t need to worry about waking the neighbors up when you try to clean.

Great for Pet Hair

Pet lovers and owners know that one of the most difficult aspects of own furry friends is the mess of their fur getting everywhere and the difficulty that comes with cleaning it up.

The RoboVac 11 does a wonderful job with pet hair no matter how many cats or dogs you have to clean up after.

Better than most Roomba models and even most upright home vacuums, this little guy set to work after a typical vacuum finds a lot more hair to pick up and trap for later emptying.

And with the three filters it has inside, it does an excellent job of getting pet dander off and out of the floor and away from the air. So those living with mild pet allergies that just can’t stand to be away from the animals of your family can have a much easier time avoiding and managing your symptoms.

Long and Effective Battery Life

On a single charge from its base, the Eufy RoboVac 11 can run for up to an hour and a half of cleaning time.

In a lot of cases, that can clean an entire apartment or house depending on the square footage and level of clean the machine is set to. And once the battery is running low, the suction on the vacuum will turn off to save enough battery for the little RoboVac to make its own way back to base for another charge.

And if it can’t make it all the way back on its own, the included remote control will let you help set it right to get ready for more cleaning.

Sturdy and Durable

The RoboVac 11 has been designed to avoid obstacles and falls but even so, it’s been constructed to ensure the longest shelf life possible — hopefully far outliving the one year Eufy warranty.

It’s covered in an anti-scratch tempered glass to fully protect it — even if it does brush up against something bigger.

Easy to Use

Robot vacuums have been around long enough now that the technology is sophisticated enough to ensure anyone can use them.

The RoboVac 11 is really intuitive and easy to use, even compared to other brand models. All it takes is a click of one button to get it started, and it can take care of everything else by itself.

It’s infrared sensor helps it avoid obstacles and the drop-sensing technology is second to none at preventing falls. It’ll also automatically recharge itself when it senses that power is low.

An Excellent Cleaner

It seems almost too obvious, but we thought it was worth mentioning anyway: the RoboVac 11 is an excellent vacuum cleaner.

Some people are rightfully a little suspicious that a small robot vacuum is able to do the same high level cleaning work as a normal upright, but the Eufy RoboVac is seriously up there with the best of them. The numerous cleaning modes, in additional to its 3 point cleaning system ensures that every nook and cranny of your floor space will be thoroughly cleaned.

The fact that it’s so good on pet hair should be testament enough to its power.

It’s Cheap

Well, relatively speaking.

Some other robot vacuum brands (*cough* Roomba *cough*…) are known for sporting eye-watering price tags.

Not so the Eufy 11 — it’s very affordable, especially in comparison to traditional vacuum cleaners.

The Cons

Not the Best for Thick Carpet

The Eufy Robovac 11 is designed for hard floors and thin carpet. It can maneuver well between settings like that, including across thin rugs and other flooring changes.

But when it comes to thicker carpeting, this machine isn’t quite so powerful and can occasionally even get stuck in the process. So if you’re a fan of thick shag rugs and carpets, this might not be the vacuum cleaner for you, unfortunately.

In fairness, Eufy do stipulate that the machine isn’t suitable for high pile carpet in their description.

Overall Verdict

The Eufy RoboVac 11 stands its ground as one of the best robot vacuums available on the market at one of the best and most affordable prices to boot.

If you’re looking for an easy, hassle-free way to vacuum your floors, or a nice device to get video of your cat riding around the house, this is an excellent machine for you. Provided you’re not overrun with thick carpeting in your home, the Eufy RoboVac 11 will do a stand-up job in cleaning your floors for you.
